Members work to make Bay View Neighborhood Association activities known to area residents and business owners, and encourage community participation and support. This committee may be called upon to interact with media outlets (Bay View Compass, Shepherd Express, OnMilwaukee.Com, bayviewnow.com, etc.), resident groups, other partnering community organizations (Bay View Garden and Yard Society, etc.), churches, and businesses in promoting the activities of the Bay View Neighborhood Association.

The Communications Committee assists other committees in announcements, promotions, events, etc.
Communications volunteers may also assist in promotion and online communication, such as:

• writing press releases
•  posting tweets on www.twitter.com/bay_view
• editing website content
• updating Facebook page and creating events
• taking photos of events
• uploading photos to our Flickr site
