Winter Blast

  • 17 Feb 2013
  • 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM (CST)
  • South Shore Pavilion

We're entering our 11th year with Winter Blast festivities.  Formerly known as Bay View's chili cook-off contest, the winter event is featuring a luau theme this year.  How awesome is that?  It takes place on Sunday, February 17th from noon to 4pm at the South Shore Park Pavilion, 2900 South Shore Drive.

Several neighborhood and community organizations will be present to connect with you.  The Honolulu Millionaires will provide live music.  And our sponsors include Milwaukee County Parks, Bay View Homes, Outpost, Woodlawn cemetery Cafe LuLu, Tonic Tavern, Studio Lounge and Gonzalez Photography.

The festivities are awesome, too:  an appearance by the Klement's racing sausages, a Hawaiian shirt contest, hula hoop and limbo contests, spam carving and face-painting.  A tiki photo booth will be available for you and your friends and family to take memorable tiki-themed photos.

See you there!

A big thanks to Nicole Madison- Joslyn for creating our Awesome poster!
