Yard Sale to Benefit the Bay View Historical Society

Saturday, May 19th, 2012, 9 am - 3 pm

at the historic Beulah Brinton House

2590 S Superior St. Milwaukee, WI 53207

Yard sale on the lawn, boutique and bookstore inside the house.

Refreshments available for purchase on the grounds.

Donations accepted May 14 -18th from 1 - 5 pm at the garage behind the house.

No clothing or holiday items please.

Call 414-324-5690 to arrange pick-up of large or heavy items.

*Participants are welcome to drop off their donations (valued at $1 or more) at the garage if it's open (or behind the garage) after the neighborhood rummage on May 12th. The garage will also be open on May 14th - 18th from 1 - 5 pm.*

Welcome to the Milwaukee Power Pack, the new, innovative group purchasing program designed to offer low cost solar energy equipment to home owners of Southeast Wisconsin.

This free seminar will educate you on how to utilize solar energy in the most cost-effective way possible. Event organizers, along with local solar panel manufacturers, have worked out a 'group purchase' program where residents can get low cost deals on the purchase and installation of solar panels for their homes. This is the easiest and most inexpensive route to utilizing solar energy in our neighborhoods.

Take advantage of our neighborhood specials on annuals and perennials and come to our plant sale! The inexpensive plant sale will take place on Saturday, June 2nd at the Humboldt Park Pavilion from 12pm - 3pm. (The BVGAYS is having their plant sale the same day, but earlier, so you can go to both!)

Special thanks goes out to Lowe's for delivering the beautiful plants for free. And also to the Neighborhood Improvement Development Corporation. We wouldn't be able to do this without you.

drives, food pantries and meal programs.

have better access to affordable healthy food within your
community….beyond pantries!

Join the Bay View Neighborhood Association as we clean our adopted beach.

We will supply the garbage bags and gloves, all you have to do is show up and be ready to pick up some trash. This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors and enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan!

As a special bonus, our friends at Barefoot Wines will be hosting an after-cleanup party for (age 21+) volunteers with wine and food for one hour afterward!

The stairway to the beach is located on Lake Drive just south of Oklahoma Avenue. Look for the brown Bay View Park sign and one of the Bay View Neighborhood Association volunteers will be posted nearby to set you up.
