Celebrate Earth Week with our Environment and Transportation Committee!
Tuesday, April 22nd, 6:30pm – Weather Permitting.
Environmental educators will lead the hour-long hike and activities to learn more about this beautiful area. Meet by the wooden bridge on the north side of the Cousins Center parking lot, near the soccer fields.
Join your neighbors for a fun night of free music and dancing at the Humboldt Park Band Shell! Free parking and plenty of space on the lawn.
The Fritsche Drum line continues their tradition of opening the summer concert series at 6:00 p.m.

Playing afro/cuban and latin jazz tunes to get you moving!!!
Grab your picnic baskets, blankets, and the kids, and come on down for a night of hot summer fun!
88Nine Radio Milwaukee, MKE Entertainment Weekly, Community Now Newspapers, and Global Union World Music Festival will also be at the park doing special promotions and giveaways!



The Bay View Neighborhood Association and Milwaukee County Parks are thrilled to announce that the Chill on the Hill concert series in Humboldt Park has been expanded beginning this summer.
The Chill on the Hill concert series is a family-friendly event taking place every Tuesday night and parking is plentiful. Opening acts comprised of local school and youth groups will begin the fun at 6:00 pm with bands taking the stage at 6:30. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the eclectic mix of music that the Chill on the Hill planning committee is working hard to provide. Additionally, the Milwaukee County Parks concessions truck will be on-hand for refreshments.

The public is invited to a presentation by Police Chief Ed Flynn, followed by a question and answer session. District Police Captain Eduardo Negron and other police department heads are also expected to attend.

Kinnickinnic River Cleanup

BVNA continues its partnership with The Friends of Milwaukee’s Rivers, The Sixteenth Street Community Health Center, and Americorps to clean up the banks and waterways of the endangered Kinnickinnic River. Bring the entire family to help make a difference for our local river, learn more about protecting our water, and enjoy fun eco-events for kids! Please note the new location this year. Dress appropriately. Gloves will be provided. Lunch will be served at noon. This is a perfect opportunity for community groups to get involved!
